Mayonnaise and supermarket sandwiches!

For those of you who don't eat mayonnaise, what have you found a part from duck, beef Burrito wraps and tuna? Or have you just given up already and gone for the salads? Grin

Does Marks and Spencer have some secrets but I haven't found yet? Waitrose and Tesco have a very limited selection of mayonnaise and egg free sandwiches.

I think I've had a chicken wrap in Sainsbury's with a salsa type sauce, no mayo.

Seren85 · 24/05/2017 18:59

A few ranges do roast chicken with a yoghurt dressing as opposed to mayo. I think Tesco is one and possibly Boots.

Pinkheart5917 · 24/05/2017 19:00

I hate mayo and it's always a struggle finding a pre made sandwich without it

bonnymnemonic · 24/05/2017 19:01

I just don't bother with pre-packaged sandwiches.

MaudeandHarold · 24/05/2017 19:02

Tesco do a'just ham no mayo' sarnie. It's on white bread too.

LucyAutumn · 24/05/2017 19:05

Sainsbury's do a plain cheese sandwich without mayo!

hellokittymania · 24/05/2017 19:06

Harold, do you know if it's also sold in the mini Tesco? The ham sandwich

Tesco do a few with no Mayo. Cheese and pickle, plain ham and a chicken wrap with salsa

TiggyMP · 24/05/2017 19:16

You need mayo. It's throat lube.

eurochick · 24/05/2017 19:18

Hummus. Ham and cheese is often mayo free but no good for me cos I can't eat cows milk products.

CrazyOldBagLady · 24/05/2017 19:19

Tesco's cheese and ham ploughmans has no mayo and is ok. Struggling to think of another apart from the duck wrap already mentioned.

LadyGlitterSparklesSeriously · 24/05/2017 19:21

Throat lube Grin

In DD's case, it would be a throat constrictor.

We just avoid sandwiches!

CostaCoffeeRoyalty · 24/05/2017 19:22

That's why I get sushi. No mayo 👌🏻

BestZebbie · 24/05/2017 19:22

falafel wrap - usually the token vegan food option, so no mayo!

hellokittymania · 24/05/2017 19:29

I found a taboo lady salad with olives and other good things at Waitrose. It's delicious. I don't like sushi either! Sorry, using dictation!

I'll just take a picture of the thing instead! Grin

I'm not into salad either so I really struggle. My favourite was salmon & cream cheese at Sainsbury's but they have taken it out of the Meal Deal offer.

Sainsbury's do a ham one that is generously stuffed and their cheese & tomato is nice too.

KP86 · 24/05/2017 19:32

I've had the plain ham from tesco express before to answer PP question. It's only £1, too.

AliceBanned · 24/05/2017 19:33

Taboo lady salad Grin Will get myself off to Waitrose in the morning to stock up!

Cakescakescakes · 24/05/2017 19:34

I had a Boots Shapers BBQ chicken wrap today that was mayo free 😀

I hate all the mayo alternatives too (yoghurt, creme fraiche etc)

hellokittymania · 24/05/2017 19:37

The barbecue chicken sounds really nice!

Boots 3-bean salad wrap or hummus and falafel wrap.
M&S have a good range without mayo.

FishwifeInAnotherLife · 24/05/2017 19:39

Gregg's do a cheese and ham baguette, no mayo, but it's a bit dry. Boots used to have smoked ham and cream cheese on wholemeal in the meal deal, but not sure if they still do. My go-to sarnie is the M&S 'chicken no mayo'. 'Tis hard to find plain sandwiches off the shelf. Or try a local bakery or Subway, they'll make any to order.
