Not if they are well presented and a suitable candidate for the job. If it was a manual role and being overweight would be detrimental to both their health and the company then yes it would be an issue.
I suppose it would also depend on whether their weight gave them mobility problems which might be an issue for some roles too but if it isn't then they should be treated like other candidates but I am quite sure it's like many things in life - people get discriminated against for a lot of things and this is probably one of them as people may assume someone is unhealthy

I've had weight loss surgery and the difference is astounding, I've witnessed it first hand. People are so shallow it's ugly.

Depends how fat surely. A little extra weight probably not a problem. Obese/morbidly obese? Yes, that would be a problem.

Yup. People assumed I couldn't run around with kids (former nanny) but I did, I walked miles for school runs, ran around parks. Rolled around on the floor with the kids while some skinny nannies I knew sat and played on their phones

Yes I would think it gave the impression that someone was lazy and also more likely to suffer health problems (I say this as somebody who is obese)
So I think if everything else other than weight was the same for 2 candidates but one was slim and one obese most would choose the slim person

No, it doesn't, Sarasue. It can show physical problems that are nothing to do with laziness, such as thyroid issues or antidepressants.
