Favourite forgotten threads

Inspired by a few cracking zombie threads that have popped up over the last few days I was wondering what peoples favourite forgotten threads are?
I remember one about 8 years ago from a woman who had a ONS and the guy hadn't been particularly vigilant in washing his arse which was hilarious (the thread - not the dirty arse obviously).
Would be great to link to some funny ones and also see if the posters are still on here and can update though perhaps not the one I mentioned

Before my time, but I keep reading about the 'Mexican house thef' but I have never been able to find it

I don't know why i enjoyed it so much - but the horse shit outside the ops house. People kept telling her how good it was for roses but she didn't have roses.

And it got to 1000 messages and she said something like 'HORSE POO IS SHIT' or something. And no one could respond.

For some reason it won't let me open the thread.

KC225 Mexican house thief is in classics under cheeky requests I think!
The one with the stolen bing toy that showed the worst and best of people in one thread was one of my favourite things on the internet ever.

Loved the one about the Korean elderly lady in the garden!

That's way before I joined. But, more recently, I would love to know about NoCapes and the GEG. Did it work out or not???

Also, Daaaaaan and her worrying thread about the weird potential stalker. But she never let us know how it panned out in the end.

Anyhow, TAATS aren't allowed, so expect this to be deleted! Shame!

TAAT is thead about a thread. This is a thread about old threads and is completely fine and always has been Confused

Moving thank you for clarifying. I've not been on here long. Thank you for my first Confused. I'm loving MN!

Well welcome. This sort of thing is practically tradition. That and saying how much worse it is these days and it is Grin

I haven't checked classics but I assume the thread from Tidydancer is there. This was a Bridezilla par excellence where the OP had been sent a "save the date" but then not invited to the wedding. However Bridezilla then expected her to give her time for free to decorate the venue as she wouldn't be doing anything else that day anyway having saved the date.

And there was a wonderful one once from someone who stuck garlic up her arse to kill threadworms but then was embarrassed about the terrible smell she left in the toilets at work.

Moving thanks - no harm done! Am learning every day. Really am loving the bizarre and wonderful world that is MN. Grin

How/where do I find Classics, please? Can't locate it using the app. Thanks

Doman - just Google Mumsnet Classics from your phone and it will take you there.

I'm convinced I'm the only one who remembers the class lizard thread. A strangely complex story that needed only one phone call to sort out but the op had pages and pages of reasons why she couldn't call the school to clarify.

A recent one was geese are bastards. Pages and pages of geese terrifying the nation. Very funny.

Does anyone else remember super soaker lady? That was one of my favourites. She was insistent that her son should be able to take his super soaker to a party in the park, even though the party hostess clearly wasn't keen and the whole of MN was telling her not to let him!

T-rexing, I loved that one, particularly, "Is that you Sharon?"

Elderly Korean lady was my favourite, I think.

There was a good one recently about washing cats which really made me laugh.

And the one about the lemon drizzle bastard. (Can't remember what actual nickname the lemon drizzle PTA woman was given, but she was a bastard.)
