Are you taking regular paracetamol and ibuprofen and drinking lots of fluids? This is the main thing that will help. As soon as the antibiotics start working your temp should come down.

Sleep, fluids and alternating paracetamol and ibuprofen (but make sure you don't go over recommended 24 great intake). It was a bit irresponsible of you to go to work. You need to rest when you are this poorly and you may have been contagious. Hopefully with antibiotics you will feel better in 24 hrs.

I am..

I honestly didnt feel as bad as i do now this morning but i thinknthat was the codine covering it. I was there 10 mins. Work have a non offically rule that says comes in then get sent home and can be quite funny if you just call in sick.
Doctors have said i can go in tomorrow if i feel up to it. So have work. Im not going into work tomorrow but am aiming for thursday.
