May has been in politics for a long time, but seems just very meh especially given her previous performance. Just keeps repeating strong leadership like a broken record.

Can't Gemma Collins or Lily Allen be in the running? They'd probably not be as bad as trump!

I read a quote years ago along the lines of 'anyone who puts themselves forward to rule the country should immediately be barred from ever ruling the country' and I think it is true - we should be suspicious of their motives...

I work in 'big business' and over the years have come across plenty of people who would be great at running government departments, if not the country.
But to do it for a salary of £80k, and have the Sun and Mirror rooting through your bins?
Civilised meetings or PMQs? Board dinners in fancy restaurants or posing with despots on trade missions?

Ooh YANBU. We shouldn't let election candidates stand if they have run for election before. And who needs political parties... what a crock. The winning candidate should employ their family (and ultra rich mates) to run the country. You know, just like in a family business. Drain the swamp!

Is that the level we are aiming for? It's a bit like saying that your lunch of dog shit smeared on broken glass isn't quite as bad the option with added poison and spear tips.
