Not sure if this is just an NI thing or if it happens all over but I keep seeing on FB photographs of things with "only in NI" as the caption. But it is for things that aren't in any way unique to NI. Today's is a photo of a lamb in someone's garden. Pretty sure there are adventurous lambs in other parts of the world. In fact I saw footage of a load of sheep and goats running alongside some marathon runners in Italy the other day. Another recent photo was of a man sunbathing on the roof of his house, again with the caption "only in NI". That cannot seriously be a rare occurrence in the rest of the U.K.?
I don't know why this irritates me so much but I really groan when I see it. I want to type in blocks capitals "THIS IS NOT UNIQUE TO NI"
I'm in a fuggy mood this evening.
