I need more ideas. Like a lot of people I just range from probably about 10 dishes or less over and over, week in week out..

My dinners range from:
Homemade Chinese chicken satay\curry
Spaghetti bolognaise (homemade sauce)
Quesadillas
Mushroom risotto
Roast dinner
Bacon and cabbage with mash and parsley sauce and veg (my fave)
Sausages mash and bisto gravy
Seafood pie

I really struggle, fail to ever eat cold salad type dinners... I find them so unappetising.

Anyone else like that but seem to like certain types of salad?!?!?

More ideas please!

YABU. Crunchy salad is the food of the gods Grin

How about shepherds /cottage pie? (you make other dishes with mince and mash)
Stir fry?
Indian curry? (as opposed to Chinese)
Pad Thai?
Chilli con carne?

Your regular dishes sound great but salads needn't be boring. How about Cesar salad with a warm ready cooked chicken shredded in with shaved Parmesan cheese and a few fried potatoes?

I suppose I need more vegetable based dishes. I'm always eating meat and there would be nothing wrong with taking it down a level! I do enjoy vegetarian bowls. Tacos, with sweetcorn, green pepper guacamole and rice kind of thing.

Need more options.

The lentil stew sounds good. I have been wanting to make a veggie lasagne but don't really know how to go about it, look a recipe yes of course, I seem to over think these things Grin

Roast cubes of sweet potato with some spices, serve over salad leaves (baby spinach mix is my fave), some pomegranate seeds, cashews, spring onions, maybe broccoli and pan fry some halloumi.

It's amazing. I like to drizzle balsamic glaze over it:

I like salads but not for dinner. I like something hot, even on a hot day. There are plenty of healthy meals that aren't salad.

We eat similarly to you. Other regular meals are...
Bean chilli
Lentil Dahl
Stir fry with noodles
Thai curry made with paste and coconut milk
Pasta with spicy tomato sauce and chorizo plus chicken, prawns or queen
Fish baked with lime, ginger, coriander, chili, spring onion

The closest I've ever got to halloumi was serving it in a restaurant years ago, I'd have no idea where to even find it. I love spinach though, especially vegetarian Indian dishes like sag ponir, chickpeas and spinach with chilli hmmm

We have salad but with hot things iyswim, eg tacos/carnitas or kebabs or chicken wraps.

Tonight we had Chinese bbq pork with sesame vegetables and spring onion rice. Four big helpings of vegetables (red onions, spring onions, carrots, broccoli - nothing challenging), really tasty, quick and fresh.

Chilli or a 3 bean chilli if you want something a bit more healthy, vegetable pasta bake, stir fry, fajitas, cous cous with bacon, onions and peas, stuffed pepper and tomatoes, simple tomato pasta with basil and mozzarella, fish with potatoes and veg, so many quick and easy options.
With salads I like to add chicken, avocado, halloumi, eggs and bacon, big homemade croutons (not all together of course) to give it something extra.

I adore Salads. I could eat a salad every day. So much you can put with them. Chicken, lamb, beef, fish, fish fingers, snack type bits (sausage rolls, pork pies, quiche), ham and cheese. Tuna,

If you like lentils and spinach this is a fab and super easy daal that can be made in big batches and frozen. It takes twenty minutes. Someone recommended it on here and I've made it so many times.

Halloumi is with all the cheeses in the supermarket. I like Sainsbos one the best, not too goaty. I like it for meat free Monday.

This revolutionised my desire to eat salad...
Gadget
Just shove all the salad things i like but are a faff to eat with a tiny bit dressing...chop chop chop and it transforms into really delicious bowl of goodness in seconds! I think salad prep is such a faff and trying to eat lettuce gracefully is all but impossible. I got hooked on chopped salads when I lived in the US for a while. I've not seen these in UK but you can order off amazon.

I love halloumi. One of my favourite meals is fake Nandos with peri coated chicken thighs, peas mashed with chilli, mint and coriander, corn on the cob, sweet potato mash/wedges and garlic bread.

One thing I do like that is very simple and quick is gnocchi with chili pesto. I add fried pancetta cubes to it as well but you can do mushrooms and peppers if you want a bit more veg.
