To ask about holiday villas

Can't find a holiday topic...

Just on the off chance really, looking for recommendations.

DH, myself and DS who will be almost 2 are planning on a villa in Portugal for next years holiday, 2 weeks in July.

We're hoping for a private pool, nice seating area, 2 bedrooms (or more if 2 isn't possible), not too far from a town but don't mind hiring a car. Willing to spend up to £3k probably but flexible.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Have been looking online also but its nice to hear people's recommendations I think Smile

My only advice would be to think vey hard about the private pool and only book a place where it's completely fenced off. Otherwise you'll spend all holiday worrying that the lo will get out of the villa and head for the pool. I prefer to forego the pool myself.

Very good idea although i would be planning for ds not to be near the pool without us, however accidents do happen.

Can't recommend highly enough, but it's not private. Right opposite the beach, Spar next door. 15 mins walk to town, but not necessary as beach bars across the street

People whosr children drown in ungated pools don't plan fir their children to be there unattended but it can happen "i thought he was with you" etc
