To not know how to take this?

Since being moved into a new dept at work, there has not been a huge amount for me and my other junior colleague to do. Fine, that's the nature of it.

However following some slightly inappropriate drink-induced behaviour from my line manager, manager in question is scrambling around to find work for me to do and involve me, which I do appreciate. Also gave me good feedback. There are certainly no feelings there on either side but I feel strange that they are no really trying.

...Should I feel uncomfortable about this?

I don't really understand, what do you mean inappropriate behaviour?

Just oversharing and possibly trying it on after having had a couple. I'm married. I'm fairly sure in the cold light of day they don't see me in that way but get the impression they are embarrassed re behaviour

Why would this lead to trying to find extra work for you?

ScaredStudent449 Sun 07-May-17 20:53:31

That's what I'm asking!

I think it's completely unconnected.

Ok perfect thank you - that is the ideal scenario
