Am fed UP of wearing heels when I need to be stylish.... I need something smart / comfy / suited to quite low arches (so not really flimsy ballet pumps), that will go with a dress or trousers please for under £50...
Your suggestions please mumsnet???

P.s: I quite like these:

M&S and Clarkes do some nice flats and low block heels.

Skechers ballet flats or Mary Janes? Not flimsy. Really comfy. Some styles smarter than others.

I'm the same, ballet flats murder my feet and give me a sore back because i have quite low arches. I rediscovered brogues last summer.

Am a bit "meh" about brogues.
I like the look of ballets but have the low arches thing - so I guess a tiny heel is ok. Like 1cm iyswim?

They're so comfortable.

No, but I looked up the number and saw them. They grey ones with a bow? They look lovely, but probably too flat for me. I am small and dumpy! Sad

The Tieks look nice but not very supportive for a low instep.

The RDs and sketchers LOOK a bit too comfy iyswim?

I guess I am after something that feels comfy and supportive but doesn't look that way... Confused

Yes the grey ones with the bows AP Wink

I can't see them, the link isn't working!
One of them is a phone number, and the other link tells me the page hasn't been found!

Clarks used to do brilliant point toed smart flats in a variety of colours. But they seem to have been killed off. I was and still am gutted. I would buy them in every colour every season if they still made them. They were perfect. Sad

I have seen your link now, not my cup of tea I have to say! I bought these ones I've linked to for work.
Love them now but my god they were agony breaking in, so so narrow. 2 days of blisters and blood and they are now really comfortable. The brown are now on sale at £40 and id have them if I didn't know how much it would hurt breaking them in!
And I've got fairly average feet, and usually quite hardy too.

I have these for work - a wedge rather than flat but they are so comfy and I walk miles in them. They have a metallic version at the moment too. www.clarks.co.uk/c/Vendra-Bloom/p/26120154
