AIBU?

To have just fu@ked my DH out of the house?

Allaboutcalm · 23/04/2017 22:07

Just found my DH's second hidden phone for the 2ND time. Long story, 2 years ago found out he had a second phone (had suspicions he did after catching him and his best mates wife texting each other on his own phone) worked through it (took a very long time). Moved to a new house in June last year, everything was great. Started IVF in Nov last year (didn't work). In second cycle now and it's worked but very very early days. Started having suspicions this weekend he was again hiding something and yep about an hour ago I found the second phone. Turfed it at him and told him to get out. He's saying he's not screwing around but wouldn't show me what was on the phone. So very early stages of pregnancy and looks like I'm going to be a single parent (if I can manage to hold onto my wee magic bean). Aggggghhhhh

Oh OP, I'm sorry to hear that. Do you have friends and family nearby to help?

Oh how could you trust this man enough to go through IVF? And how much of a betrayal for him to do this to you.

I couldn't forgive it. Seriously, it shows such intent, such planning. I couldn't cope with that.

My mum died 2 1/2 years ago, my dad lives in the states and my family here are hopeless. Haven't spoke to any of them in months. My friends are awesome but 2 are single mums and the other has a family. I have my dogs though. Grin

@Imperial that's what's getting me the most. This has been premeditated and thought out knowing there was a chance I could become pregnant. Angry

Don't let the fear of being a single parent make you do anything you might regret wrt to your pregnancy.

Not in a pitying way - I can tell you'll be fine. I just meant what a shitty thing for him to do.

All I care about now is keeping this little thing growing inside safe. This is my one and only chance as I can't have any more treatment without that fuckers signature. It's just all the practicalities now that have my head swimming. I work from home and sitting here trying to work out if I can affor the mortgage on my own. Obviously anything that can be cancelled will be like sky etc but I still can't believe that bastard. Why let me go through with the treatment if he's off shagging someone else. Why not just tell me it was over. Soooo angry right now and I'm desperately trying to stay calm. My username is not what tonight is all about for sure!

Congratulations on the pregnancy, OP. And so sorry for your relationship issues.

What a bastard. And the 2nd phone etc? That requires planning, a will to cheat (which is imo worse than spontaneous cheating...)

I send you lots of baby glue and well wishes. Take care Flowers

Try and stay calm, tough I know. Another one wishing for the best for you and your little bean. Flowers

@Astro. Yep he's gone and he won't be coming back. I assume I need to go and see a solicitor? To top it all off it's our 17y anniversary next Sat. How ironic. Guess I should of learned the first time. Sad

OP am sending my most sincere and positive wishes for a healthy pregnancy. So sorry things have worked out like this -- such a premeditated cowardly thing for him to have done. The more I read MN the more disillusioned and angry I get about male behaviour. Ok a lot of men are ok but not so many that one can trust as a matter of course.
Just take one day at a time and get legal advice asap.
Do return here to get support and let us know you are ok

Lots of good wishes for you and your baby, OP. You sound like a strong, resilient woman and you WILL get through this and you will be a great mum I can tell. You don't need anyone else, especially not someone you now know you'll never be able to trust let along be able to rely on. You did the right thing in showing your lowlife twat of a cheating H the door. You gave him a chance to step up, make amends and be a real man after he let you down so badly the last time and he just threw it all away.

Wouldn't let you see what's on it? Yeah, he's got things to hide.

So sorry, OP.

Wishing you all the best with your pregnancy.

What an utter shit.

Any chance you can train the dogs to maul his groin should he dare to return? Angry

Best of luck with your pregnancy and moving forward without such a reprehensible wanker encumbering you.

You have been amazingly strong so far, in throwing him out. Well done you.

I hope baby bean sticks, fingers crossed for that.

Keep strong, keep coming here for support.

Are you willing to say where you are? There may be one of us locally willing and able to give you support!!

Congrats on your pregnancy OP! He's a scumbag and you deserve far better, always remember that for you and your little bean!! You can do it as a single parent, it won't be easy but nothing worth having ever is. You're better off being an amazing single parent than being with a guy that will treat you like that...

Wishing you the best xx
