That is pretty awful. Looks like she's wearing an old pair of curtains.

I wondered where my old duvet cover had disappeared to!

Considering how much she must get paid by M and S, and all she has to do is wear a horrid floral outfit long enough to have her photo taken, I'd say she's pretty much got the plot well in hand.

From the description on the website:

These tapered trousers offer your outfit a retro edge while remaining inherently smart. Floral prints are an on-trend and feminine way to boost your outfit.

Who is advising M&S on this shite? Are they having a laugh?? I mean, I'm no Anna Wintour, but come on. Confused

I quite like the trousers and the jacket but NOT worn together.

She might be smiling but has shame in her eyes.

missyB1 · 18/04/2017 13:32

She wouldn't wear that monstrosity in a million years! Its M&S that have lost the plot.

CoolCarrie · 18/04/2017 13:33

I like the jacket...

Eeesh, that's some horrid outfit.

The trousers are quite a nice shape, now if only they were in black with a little zip at the side of the leg like the fabulous jodhpurs Hobbs used to do. Sigh. wish I had brought several pairs.........

Mamagin · 18/04/2017 13:40

Are they elasticated at the back? No, just no.

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 18/04/2017 13:47

Woah Shock That is a seriously horrible suit. Yes floral patterns are in but not like this. For the love of God, NOT LIKE THIS.

Report
RacoonofDoom · 18/04/2017 13:51

What's particularly worrying is that the trousers appear to be almost sold out in many sizes. Confused

Sweet baby Jesus.

You need a multiple trigger warning in the title OP.

Uuurgh. Those snazzy shoes too. Utterly vomtastic.

Who is the stylist? First against the wall.

WARNING
Do not click on the other patterned trews section on the MnS site...
DEARGOD, why? Just why?

Oh dear, that is an awful outfit - maybe if it was styled with heels rather than the pink brogues it might look better probably won't though

M&S are very hit and miss - I'll see something that looks great on their website but go and try in store and the fabric is terrible or the fit is rubbish.

Saying that , my favourite pair of winter trousers - grey wide legged, great fit, were from M&S

Something about the outfit with the pattern reminds me of a Pearly Queen. Just needs a flat cap in the same material

They look like the 'play clothes' Julie Andrews made for the Von Trapp kids in The Sound of Music.

Ha! The link was blocked by my work filter. That's how awful it is

They have not sold out in 10s and 12s, which are the sizes that usually sell out - should I buy the set Grin
