AIBU?

To wake up snoring DH knowing he's ill?

Basically what it says in the subject line.

He's come to bed (I was already here glued to a parking thread) complaining of feeling sick. He's fallen straight to sleep and is now snoring away. Snoring makes me want to claw at my ears until they bleed.

Wake him and hope it stops but hope he doesn't feel worse or leave him to it wanting to scream?

Do you have a spare room?

I would go to spare room if you have one or sofa if not!

As soon as he falls back asleep he will start snoring again so it's probably pointless.

I'd move to somewhere else for the night. The snoring is probably heightened due to feeling unwell.

Ear plugs.

I buy them in bulk.

If he's sleeping and not well he's best left alone.

DD6 and DD2 are having a sleep over in DD2's room tonight.. no bloody idea why but there wasn't enough wine to get me through the argument with them so DD6's room is free, however she has high sleeper bed that I'm probably 3 foot too big to get into!

Definitely purchasing ear plugs next time.. he usually isn't a snorer so never needed them before Sad

Sofa is an option but my downstairs is bloomin' freezing!

Oh I always wake OH up for snoring but I wouldn't if he's ill. Sleep is the best thing for him

If he's ill don't wake him. Grab the bedding from the high sleeper and sleep on the sofa? Good luck

Can you just turn him on his side to see if that stops it?

Is he on his back? Tip him gently onto his side and hopefully it'll stop without him fully waking up.

I have a snorer, so I sympathise. But I wouldn't move him if he's unwell.
Move room yourself is easier.

For me, it would be sofa with a bundle of slankets & the cat keeping me warm - if there weren't enough blankets, I'd use dressing gowns, anything like that.
Poor DH would wake up & find me when he went for his 3am wee, and feel terrible, then be lovely in the morning haha

He's on his front - how can anyone snore on their front Confused

The bedding from the high sleeper is with DD6 as DD2 has a toddler bed so they're on the floor together.. again not too sure why!

I'm now debating whether he's genuinely ill or trying to get away with not getting up with the kids tomorrow.. if I go for the latter can I wake him up and make him stop making my ears bleed snoring Grin

I second this, I cannot stand noise when trying to sleep and snoring makes me want to scream so 100% need these to sleep, have done for the last 11 years!!
