Disabled child merlin pass

So we have 3 children, 2 are disabled and eligible for carer's passes for Merlin. Here's the thing. So we don't need adult passes. The renewal rate for the chidren's tickets as part of a family is £109, the renewal for our disabled children is £139 - how does that work ?
