I never ever post in AIBU but I have just watched newsnight and could not believe my eyes when going through tomorrow's front pages of the newspapers.

I don't read said publication so will not post a direct link, but will leave this here instead:

I thought it might be some kind of a joke. Nope. AIBU to think first Shock then AngryAngry

I've just seen this too. Suspect they've done it on purpose to get more clicks on their site through outrage. Sums them up really. Bunch of twats.

MassDebate · 28/03/2017 06:52

I knew it would be this before even clicking. Unbefuckinglievable - even for the Fail this is pretty backward. It's like their journos have missed the last 50 years.

HopelesslydevotedtoGu · 28/03/2017 06:58

At first I thought it was a spoof of a DM cover - how horribly depressing

Whynotnowbaby · 28/03/2017 06:59

What does it say? I don't have twitter

RatHammock · 28/03/2017 07:00

Why have they ended a question with an exclamation mark?

MongerTruffle · 28/03/2017 07:01

You don't need twitter to see it.

StealthPolarBear · 28/03/2017 07:02

Well those women are just about to look pretty aren't they?

Penhacked · 28/03/2017 07:02

Im not clicking on it.

cheminotte · 28/03/2017 07:03

Women's agenda (Australian online mag) have covered this
womensagenda.com.au/latest/eds-blog/the-daily-mail-frontpage-on-brexit-is-unbelievably-sexist/
So no need toclck on DM link.

cheminotte · 28/03/2017 07:04

To click

EmpressOfTheSpartacusOceans · 28/03/2017 07:05

Bloody hell.

Pen, the link just goes to Twitter and not even to the Daily Mail's account. They won't get any benefit from clicks.

Rosti1981 · 28/03/2017 07:09

Wtaf?!

Majorgoodwinschickenbeatstrump · 28/03/2017 07:10

Sorry, immature, but I read sexiest! Grinthe notion of a 'sexy' daily mail cover really got my curiosity going I must admit Grin but yes I agree, it's just shocking. Unfortunately though it's how a lot of people like to think... it's better we realize and acknowledge that rather than be totally oblivious I suppose ConfusedAngry

Whynotnowbaby · 28/03/2017 07:11

Thank you Cheminotte, for whatever reason it wouldn't show me from first link. Appalling front page.

Spudlet · 28/03/2017 07:12

Dacre is pathetic, he really is. He's so threatened by women as leaders that he has to reduce them to what he thinks a woman's role should be - looking pretty and shutting up. What a weak little man.

Ifailed · 28/03/2017 07:17

here's a screen grab from the BBC site:

Is this the most sexist front page ever?
Trifleorbust · 28/03/2017 07:21

Oh right, we won't worry about the political, economic and social turmoil thrown up by Brexit then - not whilst there are female knees to gawp at Hmm

Glitteryfrog · 28/03/2017 07:21

I saw this last night.
It's totally inappropriate.

ActuallyThatsSUPREMECommander · 28/03/2017 07:24

That BBC screengrab is a later edition when they're back-pedalling a bit.

notaflyingmonkey · 28/03/2017 07:28

What fucking year have I woken up in.

ActuallyThatsSUPREMECommander · 28/03/2017 07:28

What did the Newsnight presenter say?

hahahaIdontgetit · 28/03/2017 07:28

Fucking hell! That's appalling.

In the later edition they've stolen the mumsnet "lighthearted", can we please stop using it now?

Guess "Brexit" is achieving it's goal taking us back to the 50's.

BartholinsSister · 28/03/2017 07:31

What was Sarah Vines verdict in the end ?

GloriaV · 28/03/2017 07:33

To be honest I did notice their legs when I looked at the photo (must have been in the Times or BBC as I don't look at the DM normally). For some reason I was wondering if one type of tights looked better than the another.
It is blatantly sexist but it is also that the leaders of two of our countries are women and good that that is being noticed.
I would lighten up. Both Brexit and Second Ref have been done to death.
