To think leggings are naff

Too much exposure, too ugly and just too naff basically.

YANBU

BakerBear · 27/03/2017 18:48

Depends were you buy them from.

You need to pay around £20 a pair for them to be decent with no exposure

MrsChopper · 27/03/2017 18:48

But they are soooo comfy!!!

JonSnowsWhore · 27/03/2017 18:49

Totally unreasonable I'm afraid. I'm pregnant, uncomfortable & whale like. If i didn't have my daily outfit of leggings, long top & cardigan, I just wouldn't leave the house. Ever Blush

VladmirsPoutine · 27/03/2017 18:49

YABU

pipsqueak25 · 27/03/2017 18:49

i know some people love them but...they can be a bit grim,

Bluntness100 · 27/03/2017 18:50

You're kind of being unreasonable. You get some excellent leggings now, more like jeggings, with thick material, and can be worn with longer tops and look great.

VladmirsPoutine · 27/03/2017 18:50

And the word "naff" is unreasonable in and of itself.

ferriswheel · 27/03/2017 18:50

Where are the good £20 a pair leggings?

FormerlyFrikadela01 · 27/03/2017 18:50

Yabu. Nothing can part me from my leggings.

Disclaimer: i never wear them with anything shorter than mid thigh so no bum on show.

TheWitTank · 27/03/2017 18:50

Love mine! Comfortable and horse/stable friendly!

Dontactlikeyouknowme · 27/03/2017 18:52

Who cares what you think.

GooodMythicalMorning · 27/03/2017 18:52

If theyre good ones yabu. With long tops or tunics. No short tops and see through leggings, that just looks wrong.

Spikeyball · 27/03/2017 18:52

I live in leggings but always with a top with plenty of arse coverage.

SmileEachDay · 27/03/2017 18:52

Dress/leggings doc martins
Dress/leggings wellies
Dress/ leggings converse
Dress/leggings sandals
Dress/leggings/platforms

That covers all weathers and all occasions.

Your problem is...? Grin

DappledThings · 27/03/2017 18:53

I don't care how long the top is, trousers and leggings are not the same thing so they should only be worn under skirts or dresses. IMHO of course!

RiverdaleJughead · 27/03/2017 18:54

I look hot in leggings .... if you look naff then that's your choice but I shall continue to wear and enjoy them

Ameliablue · 27/03/2017 18:54

Unreasonable, my girls live in them as normally trousers and jeans just fall down.
For adults it kind of depends though.

Middleoftheroad · 27/03/2017 18:55

Marks, Sainsburys and Miss Selfridge's do great quality leggings. You'd have to cut me out of mine to part us, as I look naff in jeans.

Aeroflotgirl · 27/03/2017 18:55

I wear Joe Browns tunics with leggings, and they look very nice. If your over size 12 you need to wear something that covers. I agree, decent leggings are £15 and over, the cheaper ones are dreadful, cheap fabric, and design.

BakerBear · 27/03/2017 18:55

Ferris.

Boden do £20 leggings, jo jo maman Bebe does £20 maternity ones

LittleCandle · 27/03/2017 18:57

Joe Browns leggings are the best I have come across. I don't leave my bum uncovered, though.

I love my leggings. I look crap in jeans and can't find any to really fit me anyway, so leggings all the way for me!!

CrohnicallyPregnant · 27/03/2017 18:59

I love my leggings (even when not pregnant). But I treat them as tights rather than trousers, so wear a dress, skirt or very long top with them.

MitzyLeFrouf · 27/03/2017 19:01

An American airline yesterday banned some teenage girls from boarding as they were wearing leggings!? Not really sure of the reasoning.

Do you work for that airline OP?
