Terrible customer service?

I ordered some clothes to be collected in store. Two separate orders. Went to collect them and told one hadn't arrived.

Still heard nothing about an update. Turns out it was delivered 2 days before I collected it.

I go on holiday tomorrow for a week and it will then be over the 10 days given for collection so will be sent back.

Explained the situation on twitter and after 16 hours, all they said was - your order is now ready to be collected

I've had that happen in New Look and Asda. Asda has been particularly bad, sending stuff back before the time period.

I think the lack of dedicated staff to C&C orders, is part of the issue.
