I was exactly the same. I'm afraid you just have to be positive and kind to yourseld! It'll be a long 9 months of you don't. Congratulations I'm so pleased for you!

YANBU to be so anxious! It's a very hormonal time all round. I had a metallic taste in my mouth with my pregnancies. Water suddenly tasted awful! I also had HG and would have been happier with no symptoms!

Try and do things to take your mind off it Flowers all the best! And please go for an early scan if you're worried. It should put your mind at ease

Exact same boat as you. But I'm not sure I really have anything to say to make it easier! I too haven't really had symptoms, other than cramping.

I try to take the view that it's out of my control, and the best thing I can do is relax and try to do what's best for the baby.

It's hard isn't it. I only started to relax around 20 weeks. I'm afraid I don't have much advice.m but wanted to say I think it's normal to be anxious! Flowers

Then hang on to that hope! Whatever will get you through till your scan Grin let's hope what she said is true.

I want to be excited, but I've ended up so disappointed in the past. However I did wake up this morning and think 'shit, I really DO need to sort out a new job now' 😂

Everyone has different waya of dealing with the anxiety but after a v early miscarriage i then became pregnant and had an early scan at 6 weeks. Just to know there was a heart beat helped me, however i then had to make the decision not to agonise further and so I used a mindfulness app to calm my thoughts during the first 12 weeks. There isn't a one size fits all approach but thought I'd share in case it may help x

When I was pregnant with my ds, I didn't have any symptoms at all apart from a missing period! I did 5 tests and didn't dare believe them. The doctor did a test which of course was positive but I still couldn't believe it. At that time 12 week scans weren't done at our hospital so it wasn't unit 20 weeks that I had a scan and finally properly believed I was going to have a baby!

I had a completely easy pregnancy, totally straightforward birth and the most delightfully easy baby. Congratulations! Enjoy!
