I will pass on the smoothie, the rest would be fine.

I will also happily take your thornotons if you don't want them!

jdoe8 Sat 25-Mar-17 15:24:40

Really? It seems like such a huge amount of food and sugar, I would feel sick after eating that

juicygirly Sat 25-Mar-17 15:30:49

I agree op!

Why are Mother's Day gifts so crap?

Bluntness100 Sat 25-Mar-17 15:32:14

Well I would be happy with that, but I'm generally happy with any gift i get, as for me, it's the thought that counts,,,hmm

Wolfiefan Sat 25-Mar-17 15:32:52

Sainsburys had a special display on for Mothering Sunday. Chocolate, gin and anti ageing cream! grin

WonderMike Sat 25-Mar-17 15:34:12

It'll be a challenge but I'd give it a fair go grin

ilovesooty Sat 25-Mar-17 15:34:35

I see the OP appears to have announced her controversial thought for the day.

And she can hardly speak for all mothers.

Funnyonion17 Sat 25-Mar-17 15:37:06

I've asked for a nice box of Lindor. That will do me!

Ragdoll545 Sat 25-Mar-17 15:38:18

Bring it on grin

HoneyDragon Sat 25-Mar-17 15:38:48

I have access to a buffet for breakfast tomorrow so intend to hit those targets op.

Dd is only a baby but if dh wants to bring me that in bed tomorrow from dd, i am sure I will struggle on and eat it -it's a tough challenge but I'm happy to do it! <<Obviously OP now thinks I am a greedy pig >>

EllenJanethickerknickers Sat 25-Mar-17 15:41:46

Said no mother ever!

Iamastonished Sat 25-Mar-17 15:42:27

DD painted me a lovely picture.

APlaceOnTheCouch Sat 25-Mar-17 15:43:49

There's not a stopwatch so you don't have to eat it all at the same time.I'd be quite happy with it.

I really want cake now, and I know it's unlikely it will feature in my breakfast tomorrow sad

jdoe8 Sat 25-Mar-17 15:44:44

*I agree op!

I think we maybe on our own! I think its all about massive amounts of low quality stuff.

A painting sounds lovely.

arethereanyleftatall Sat 25-Mar-17 15:45:01

Yabu. My dc are beyond excited about Mother's Day. I'm sure I'll get something like that and I'll be thrilled.

muttrat Sat 25-Mar-17 15:45:14

I agree OP.

I don't want fucking prosecco either. The

If you couldn't eat it all it's ok OP I don't think someone from Lidl will be standing behind you forcing it down your throat you will be allowed to eat it later in the day.

The photo shows the portions used in the YouTube video so hardly excessive and the chocolates Mum probably ate later as they weren't breakfast they were a gift with the flowers & watch

WeAllHaveWings Sat 25-Mar-17 15:45:53

I'm getting a box of choc (have hinted at Ferraro Roche as spotted them in Tesco and haven't had for years, hope they are still nice!) and bottle of cheap rose. Wouldn't say no to scrambled eggs on toast and a smoothie!

Only thing I wouldn't want is the cheap shite watch.

muttrat Sat 25-Mar-17 15:45:58

I want a book and a bottle of whisky!!

Etak15 Sat 25-Mar-17 15:45:59

I would love a buffet breakfast and to not have to sort everyone else out first before I get to eat it!!

BillSykesDog Sat 25-Mar-17 15:48:29

It's an advert. They're suggesting a fairly wide selection of products so the maximum amount of people see something they fancy. Not dictating a compulsory list.
