I'm struggling to describe to dh how being in the same room as this film feels like a constant aural assault. Is this just me?

Definitely not just you. One of the worst films I've ever sat through. Grin

Oh. I loved Sing. And I bloody hate 99% of kids' movies!! Grin

It was crap. DS wasn't impressed either.

I loved it! Probably because I took my five year old niece who danced in the aisles she loved it so much.

Alvin and the crapmunks is like that for me. Those movies literally cause me pain to watch or hear.

I loved Sing! We have the soundtrack on at home for a dance about in the evenings. DC love the Stevie Wonder/Ariana Grande song at the end.

It was crap and I loved it - a rare combination. Grin

I watched it at a cinema which allows you to drink wine during the film. I found it helped...

It really is rubbish. DS said he liked it but hasn't mentioned it since.

I enjoyed it and like KoalaDownUnder kids and in particular animated films are the bane of my life. My 6 year old has developed a massive crush on Johnny - I'm just letting it slide Grin I could however live without her repeated warbling of I'm still standing.

I thought you were talking about Sing Street and was baffled as to how anyone could dislike that film!

But I've googled Sing and just watched the trailer, it looks shit. Gimme Zootopia over this.

It looked fairly good to me, but my child is too young to be taken to see it.

Now Frozen. Oh my goodness what a load of tripe. I'm still trying to figure out what the hype was all about. Crap story, crap characters (was I the only one hoping 'kooky' Anna would stay frozen forever, urgh), and really crap songs. And it made an ever more crap storyline in Once Upon A Time.

Good music and singing/lame plotline and characters. Just about scrapes to a 4 out of 10.

Cheers m'dears. It looks like this is just me then - I don't believe it's a bad film per se. I have found it unendurable to be in the same room as the noise, the constant changing yet always reliable noise of the thing. I am cowering in the kitchen until it's over.

Yes the "oh my god, look at her butt" is very unfortunate lol

We loved it , and we are all adult - it's already been pencilled in as the Christmas Eve film on a double bill with one of the Naked Gun trilogy . DH won't like it but that's just hard luck .

Oh god. Have promised DS3 we'll watch it tomorrow.

Might be worth it for his impressions of the Lady Gaga pig!

I'm afraid I'm another who loved it- took a group of 6 seven yr olds who were dancing in their seats throughout (and there was much 'on my god, look at her butt' -ness for weeks after!).
