AIBU?

To not have energy to get annoyed?

The main thing I have learned from MN is that lots of people get annoyed at lots of small things. I just don't have the energy to get annoyed at small things that others do, that mildly irritate me. Things some here see as major issues, are things that make me roll my eyes and forget about 5 minutes later.

Well, yeah... such is life. Some things are more important to people than others. It doesn't mean anyone is wrong for getting upset at something you wouldn't.

Its just people get upset at too much. I admit I do judge and wonder if their lives are just very easy.

I have borderline personality disorder, & can get really wound up at seemingly insignificant things (which, 10 minutes after my meltdown, I will also agree are insignificant). I'm on medication now & I manage to stay much calmer.

Some people really do need to chill (me included).

butteredbanana Yes that would be the way to start a real bun fight!
But I mean I have real issues to worry about. And I know there are others on here that do too.
Do those who get very upset at trivial things really have an easy life? Or do they just go about life getting offended at everything?

Actually... you obviously do have the energy for some things.
I just asked you a simple question...
Cross on- line banter off your list.

I think the more perceptive and intuitive a person is... the more they have to be worked up about.
Nothing gets past them, and when you don't get the wool pulled over your eyes - well. Wink

I can relate to you on this OP, there are a lot of posts that posters mention something and I think, yeah that happened to me too, but I just forgot about it or it didn't really register as a problem, but I do understand people have different situations and anxiety levels. I am just happy to not have to worry about everything, it keeps life easier

I don't think I could cope with life if these small things annoyed me so much. I have lots of real things I have had to cope with over the years such as bereavement, redundancy, money worries, serious illness.

Yes, when people moan about online spelling errors I think, really?

I mean I notice them and roll my eyes but I don't think 'oooh the state of this country! What are things coming to when people can't spell '
