I was at my lowest ebb last night and I reached out, posting my thoughts and my intentions (suicidal). The responses all pointed me to talk to the Samaritans, which I did. I needed to express my thoughts and my intentions and I needed a reaction - positive - which I received. So I just wanted to create this thread to say thank you.

I'm in a dark place at the moment but it isn't as dark as it was last night. I'm going to work through this.

I'm so glad you posted this, and that you are still here.
I was there a few years ago. I'm plodding out of it with meds and therapy. I know I'm not the only one here either.

I can't tell you what a relief it is to see this post, you have been on my mind all day.
I am also incredibly pleased you reached out to the samaritans and can now see a glimmer of light.
Things won't change overnight but they will get better in time as long as you give them that time.

It really helped. Im glad I posted my threat last night. And I did see the replies before my thread was (understandably and rightfully) deleted. The responses to my thread had me in tears, but in a positive way. It made me feel that I'm not alone and all replies told me to phone the samaritans which I did.

Again, thank you all. You're all helping me through this and I am and will be forever grateful
