AIBU?

To ask OH to help me tame the bush!

Just that really! I'm 34 weeks pregnant and would really like to go swimming at the weekend. I'm hoping the weightlessness would help with all my aches and pains. BUT I haven't been able to see my lady garden, let alone maintain it properly in about three months! Would it be weird/gross if I asked OH to help me tame it!

Why would it be weird or gross?

God forbid a man should see pubic hair.

Err... your oh is about to see a baby emerge from that area. If he can't handle a little trimming for you then he's going to get a shock!

Also if he's grossed out by that I'm not sure how he's going to cope when you give birth.

He'll probably enjoy it.
Have fun.

No it wouldn't be weird or gross, dp has done mine a few times before now but I'm always worried about how he'd "style" it Grin

I don't see anything unusual about being uncomfortable if it's not something you've shared before. I continued waxing throughout both my pregnancies, that's another option for you if you prefer

Not in the slightest. Although if it was me I wouldn't bother to be honest... Usually I am a short back and sides kind of a girl but when I am that pregnant, full 70s bush all the way.

Ans swimming will be amazing, even if you just bob about and don't swim it takes all of the weight off.

Take your time getting out though - I imagine it is the same experience coming back to gravity when a person has been on the moon. Wink

It makes me feel weird because it's like really functional rather than be sexy? I suppose I could try and make it sexy but I feel/look like a beached whale!

Just shave the fecker off, takes me a minute every Sunday, and I'm done for the week 😌

Dp did mine with both my pregnancies and gave him the opportunity to style it how he likes. Obviously he's fine with me being me but I told him to have at it.

Absolutely fine I've had my dp do it- just watch they don't get carried away with the trimming! Lol

DH trimmed mine before surgery a few years ago and has done it ever since. It always leads to oral Grin

Maybe have him do a Kellogs Cockerell?

A mirror is your friend. If you can wipe yourself ok when going to the toilet, then you should manage that just fine.

Get a beard trimmer or clippers or something and get him to trim it for you. Not weird at all. It's just being helpful to you and he might even enjoy himself.

DH did some form of barbering job on mine before I had a CS without either of thinking it would imperil his masculinity.

let him do it. Not weird at all. DH was pretty good at it, as he wasn't bothered about whipping the wax strips off (only bikini line) which meant quicker and less painful and more efficient job than when I do it cos I am a wuss when it comes to there.

OH does mine sometimes just because. Not weird at all for him to help you out

I used an electric lady shave type thing and went in blind Confused

I really wouldn't like for my partner to help me out with hair removal, just seems a bit yuck but I seem to be in the minority! But then I find hair removal a bit yuck so maybe it just comes from that.
