To want DH to take 2 year old to her classes?

Very much first world problem. Dd3 is rising 2 and goes to forest school and swimming lessons. They cost money but she utterly loves them and I like socialising with parents. DH works Saturdays so gets one day off during the week. But he will not take dd3 to her classes and it fucks me off. His reasoning is he took her to one sure start group when she was 8 weeks and the leader was bloody patronising faffing about him not feeding her despite DH explaining i was ill and dd3 was refusing a bottle. So now he won't try ever. Which means as his day off falls quite often on these two days i never get a fucking break as i'm not paying termly fees for her to miss classes. And i think DH would have much more fun than gluing his arse to the sofa and staring at his phone while dd3 watches Cbeebies which is his method of parenting. I know i probably am being unreasonable but is it too fucking much for him to take her out to something she loves so i can take a piss in peace once a week?

Yanbu. When exactly does he intend to start taking her to stuff, or will it be your responsibility until she can go on her own? He needs to be a parent and do something he might find irritating because his child loves it. My DH moved one of his days off from the weekend to a Friday so he can have a day where its them together and almost every week they do something she loves. He does not enjoy 'bounce and rhyme' at the library but he does enjoy watching her enjoy herself. Your DH needs to consider his perspective, its not primarily about his enjoyment.

Would he take her out to things you don't pay for? like the park etc?

Presumably he has to get in the water with her for swimming. What does a Forest School class involve for a 2 year old? I'm slightly boggled tbh.

Can he take her to the park or something instead? I'm not convinced a 2yo really cares if she goes to forest school/swimming or not, tbh.

Yes, it's annoying that you've paid for classes but at 2, I really don't think it matters if she misses them occasionally.
