I was speaking to my DS12 about a friends mum who is 50 this weekend. My son said he thought 50 was old but he hates the fact I am so young and people comment on it to him and tell him his mums a milf. He said you and dad must have been stupid to have me so youngconfused he hates me doesnt he?

Boys (and girls) of twelve are well known for their clever and well thought out comments. You are right to conclude he hates you.

hmm crap stealth boast by the way.

Assuming this isn't a stealth boast, he's perhaps testing to see if you regret having him young.

He clearly hates you. Off to the orphanage with him, I say.

I was called a milf recently and was pretty damn chuffed about it if i'm being totally honest grin
Try not to let it bother you. Kids can be cruel and nothing wrong with being a young mum. Im 26 and my LO is 15 days old but my mum had me when she was 43. Just explain to your son that mums come in all ages, there are no set rules for these things xx

wow - this is something that almost never happens - a 12 year old teen/preteen making a nasty comment to their parents because they know exactly which buttons to push to piss them off!

just tell him he was lucky to be born at all and show him the conception video of the chances of the egg and sperm meeting. he will probably die of embarrassment.

MissJC Wed 08-Mar-17 18:37:28

I mean my mum had me when she was 18. Not bloody 43, I am totally sleep deprived right now.

Foxysoxy01 Wed 08-Mar-17 18:38:13

Lol, you mighty milf!

rollonthesummer Wed 08-Mar-17 18:39:26

How old are you?!

Bigfluffybear Wed 08-Mar-17 18:41:11

31. Not a stealth boast.

AlmostAJillSandwich Wed 08-Mar-17 18:42:11

He's at the age his classmates will be hitting puberty, he probably gets ribbed for you being the "fit mum".
It's a horrible thing for him to have said to you, but he may well just be struggling/embarrassed his mates fancy his mum.

Bigfluffybear Wed 08-Mar-17 18:53:51

Vladmirgrin suppose i should be grateful hes not thinking of being a young dad

TeenAndTween Wed 08-Mar-17 18:55:07

My DD2 is 12, at 50 I'm one of the older Mums. You would be closer in age to quite a few of them than I am. He doesn't hate you, he's just a bit embarrassed by the attention you're getting. Think of some positives and point them out to him.

YouTheCat Wed 08-Mar-17 18:56:10

I'd just sell him on ebay and have done with it.

VladmirsPoutine Wed 08-Mar-17 19:00:30

In all seriousness though, I'd just enjoy it. 12 yr olds aren't necessarily known for their skills in tact and diplomacy. He doesn't hate you. If I were you I'd go to pick him up from school wearing a very short leather skirt! wink

Allthebestnamesareused Wed 08-Mar-17 19:09:23

By the time he is 15 he will be proud he has the younger mum! I promise

Bigfluffybear Wed 08-Mar-17 19:33:40

MatildaTheCat Wed 08-Mar-17 19:44:07

Jesus, does he genuinely know what Milf stands for? Most 12 year olds would rather die than say that to their mother, surely?

Bigfluffybear Wed 08-Mar-17 20:35:40

We have a very open relationship. Im surprised the things he tells megrin

Justwantcookies Wed 08-Mar-17 20:40:24

id have been more shocked at my 12 year old saying milf than saying he hated me confused

DJBaggySmalls Wed 08-Mar-17 20:41:40

Tell him his mates are twats instead of taking them seriously.
