AIBU?

To be heartbroken at yet ANOTHER fave product being discontinued?

I have just discovered Thorntons have discontinued their strawberry fondant chocolate pigs, and I am quite frankly devastated. These have been my fave little treat since I was about 12, and now they are no more!

It's the latest in a long line of favourite products being discontinued - does anyone else get unreasonably irritated by this?! I'll start a list, feel free to add to it...

  • Thorntons strawberry fondant pigs (sob)
  • Benefit 'So Hooked on Carmella' perfume
  • Lush Aqua Mirabilis (my thighs will never be the same again)

Greggs Coffee Cream Puff

Sad Sad Sad

It was so rich and calorific I would only get one once every 6 months - but yes, still missing it....

I was quite annoyed when Iceland discontinued their cheese and bacon focaccia (sp?) bread, it was lovely dipped in bolognese ... or curry (Yes I was pregnant, but it was still bloody gorgeous.) Even the fresh ones from the bakers don't compare Sad

This ALWAYS happens to me! I'm still cross about the loss of bird's eye's chocolate Lovelies circa 1980something.

I'd forgotten about Thorntons. Our local one shut years ago.

I miss a Spira, I used to love sucking my tea through it then eating the melty chocolate.

Cadburys Bournvita hot chocolate.

Much maltier than normal hot chocolate and the smell and taste of my childhood

It goes back as far as Cadbury's Super Mousse bar back in the 70s!

I used to love fuse bars too.

They've not been discontinued, but years ago Rowntrees fruit gums changed the recipe, meaning they are no longer vegetarian. I still miss them Sad

@theresamustgo I miss rainforest crunch too and nobody else remembers it!
Also really missing Greggs chicken New Orleans sandwiches, I've been craving them this whole pregnancy and they've been discontinued

Estee Lauder maximum coverage foundation in all the pale colours. The palest colour is now brownish orange. So sad.

Spira bars were lovely, I miss them too.

Marks & Spencer tuna melt sandwich from about 15 years ago. It was topped with soft cheesy stuff and was delicious!
