To ask for help in finding a dress for a friend's wedding?

I've been invited to a friend's wedding. The actual wedding itself is very small and they are having a big party a few days later. The wedding is next month. I want a dress that will hold my tummy in a bit so something with tummy control would be good I would also prefer something v-neck or at least not too high necked. I don't mind if it's a maxi dress or knee length. Any suggestions ladies? I would probably pay about £60 but don't want to go over the score price wise. I am 5'8" and a size 14.

I would go for something similar to this link:
www.oasis-stores.com/gb/clothing/dresses/lotus-wrap-dress/060838.html?dwvar_060838_color=00&position=64&cgid=dresses#page=6&start=64&categoryID=dresses
Wrap dresses are flattering in my opinion and comfy.

That dress is gorgeous lucky but it's just a bit too short for me.

I've bought this for a friend's wedding. They have the style in loads of different patterns. It's really flattering on, little bit of ruching round the tummy area and neckline is lovely. www.joliemoi.co.uk/products.php?product=Jolie-Moi-1%7B47%7D2-Sleeve-Ruched-Wiggle-Dress

wow nyancat what a lovely dress. Is it true to size or would you say buy a size up?

It's say it's fairly true, there is a bit of stretch to it as well. Material was nicer than i thought it would be.

That's a lovely dress.

Look at phase eight - everything 20% off at moment.
