Pizza delivery guy keeps ringing my phone!

On Saturday night we had friends round and ordered a pizza online. As our doorbell doesn't work we put a note to explain this and asked them to please knock.

When the pizza arrived my oh answered and had a conversation about how the doorbell doesn't work (for some reason the delivery guy thought he had to knock on the back door).

Later on that night around 11pm I was messing around in my phone and saw a number I didn't recognised as a missed call. I realised it was the delivery guy as the time was around when the pizza came. By accident I called the number but managed to cut it off after a couple of rings.

The guy then rang me back and being embarrassed I didn't answered (I know, stupid). Then he texted me twice and I replied that I was sorry and it was a accident. He asked who I was, I didn't reply and then 10 minutes later he texted again saying ok.

So no problems, just a cross text.

Then on Sunday morning around 10am my phone rang and it was the same number again! I answered but from the sounds of it, it was clearly a butt dial. Again, no big deal.

At 2:30 pm the number called me again! I was at my inlaws and my phone was on silent so I let it ring off.

At 8:30 am today, the number has called me again! I didn't managed to get to it in time and on seeing the number I was now annoyed.

So I rang him straight back, but he didn't answer. I left a restrained voicemail, explaining that I had accidentally rang the number on Saturday and was sorry for the confusion but that I had texted him to explain and said that he needed to stop ringing me now.

When it went to voicemail it was a personalised one with his name.

Anyway I explained to my oh what had been happening with all the calls as he could see I was annoyed this morning. Now the school run's done I'm feeling a bit creeped out by it all. AIBU feeling creeped out? Should I called the manager of the shop if it happens again?

Just block? Maybe he suffers from anxiety or is worried about getting into trouble for the initial mix up. Leave it.

Block his number.
