To ask my DW to change the loo roll when she uses the last of it?

I mean, she tells me it's because she hasn't got time, what with the baby and all but come on this activity only takes a second!!

Who doesn't do that? I even do it if I go to someone's house and use the last bit!

Unless she literally has the baby in her arms whilst on the loo she can do it. Do it while peeing!

If you have the toilet paper in the bathroom you can change it whilst on the toilet.

Whoever uses the last of it has to replace. Those are just the rules of a civilized society.

DH rarely manages to do this, or his favourite move is to leave a single square on the tube because he 'knows I don't like waste'
Even my 4 year old manages to do it Angry

I always have a supply of spare rolls next to the toilet. I just don't have the time to put it on the holder!!

Have time!? I call bullshit!

I visit my mothers, and every bloody time I'm there, I go to the loo, I change the roll, and I'm seen taking the tube to the bin in the kitchen which apparently triggers a standing ovation Hmm

You need my 3 sons! There's a loo roll holder next to the loo that holds 2 spares & 1 on a simple 'bar'. I have lost count of the times one roll is on the floor & another is in the bath!

YANBU, this drives me potty, so we've taken to keeping the pack of toilet paper next to the toilet instead.

DH never does this. Silly man gets caught out when he curls one out and there's no bog roll

Is your holder one of those ones which needs faffing with? I always swore I would never have one of those spring-loaded ones and instead have ones where you just jam another roll on with one hand.

Where do you all store your loo rolls? We keep ours next to the loo. Why would it be stored anywhere else

We keep a supply by the toilet but have the big packs stored in the understairs cupboard. If someone uses the last upstairs they come down, gets stash out and leaves them on the stairs. Anyone going up and sees toilet rolls takes them into the bathroom.

We have a very simple loo roll holder, couldn't be faffed with having to unclick things. It's a basket thing for the spares and a bar to put on the one in use.

What examples of blue and pink jobs do people have? I'll start:

Blue: technical wizardry
Pink: changing nappies
