to expect my mother to be here by now to go to the park when she told me 11am???

supposed to go to the park & have lunch

kids are coated up, but DS1 has got undressed about 4 times, the little ones moaning and we havent had any lunch as we are supposed to be eating out - were all starving

truthfully im very pissed off and dont want to go anymore

and the phones engaged so shes not on her way she is chatting to someone

no shes always, well lets just say 'tardy'

she took my grandad to view a flat at 10am, she rang about an hour ago so say she would be 15 minutes [sigh] and now shes on the phone

and ds1 has just emptied my lipgloss all over the rug

I'd have called at 11.15 if my mum hadn't turned up.. 'cos knowing her, she would have forgotten!!!

this drives me bonkers. so disrespectful imho! my mil does this too, as does my sil. i give my mil a 30 min offset time, and sil a 2 hour one. we're pretty much back on track now.

my sister does this to me or similar... last Sunday

"come over to see us and bring D" sister
"Ok lovely we're not doing anything this afternoon I'm come over in an hour" me

one hour later....

"Ding dong" (me ringing sis's doorbell)
"they're gone out to the auction" nephew

Why does she do that? Does it all the time.

She's forgoten what its like to have a 1yr old who needs dressing, feeding, sleeping with some kind of routine.
