Facebook, I know, but I use it for business. But what in the name of all that is sane and sensible is this?

I'm going to say goodbye to some of you...... now I'm watching the ones who will have the time to read this post until the end. Cancer is very invasive and destructive to your body. After you have finished your treatment, then, your body wants to go to war with yourself trying to reconstruct all the damage caused by radiation. It's a very long process.
Please, in honor of someone who died, or is fighting cancer, or even had cancer, copy and paste.
They all say: "if you need anything, do not hesitate, I'm gonna be there for you"... so I'm going to make a bet that in less than 1/2 of my friends put this on your wall. You just have to copy (not share)!!!

Barf.... My mother died of lung cancer last year. It was slow and gruesome (it eventually went to her brain) and her quality of life was terrible. The number of people who posted this kind of shit and tagged me in to show their "support" when it would have been better if they had cooked a meal or helped me lift her onto the commode..... I hate this fluffy type of manipulation. I don't feel that you can respond in a way that doesn't make you look bad.

Generate a page or a post that generates a lot of likes and either sell the page on to someone who'll change the page contents or keep it for themselves, change the page contents for fraudulent purposes.

It's the modern day equivalent of a chain letter. It's just spam. I ignore it/scroll on by. There's one for almost every condition you can think of these days - repost this status to show your support for cancer/diabetes/autism/ mental health issues/domestic violence/depression etc.

OurBlanche I actually have won stuff from a like and share competition so actually worth doing sometimes.

My Dad used to post this stuff until I explained to him that it wasn't written by the friend of his who posted it but it was a chain letter, so I think there are some people out there who don't use Facebook enough to understand this is spam.
