AIBU?

AIBU - decent pyjamas?!

Hello ladies, I am looking for recommendations for where in the U.K. to buy decent cosy comfortable pyjamas that wash well. I am size 12 (more like a 14 on the bum!) and 5ft6. I have tried loads over the years... I always struggle to find styles I like in M&S as often too old for me (aged 30), or lacy frilly numbers designed by their latest celeb aimed at younger ladies which are not warm or comfortable. I gave Jack Wills a try because my husband's bottoms from there are lovely but the women's styles seem to be made for girls without curves as I needed a massive size to accommodate my bum but then they were enormous on the waist! I recently branched out and tried cyberjammies after reading some good reviews, but I find their sizes come up too small, the leg lengths too short (and I am hardly tall!) and they don't wash well. Where to go from here?! Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

Lands End have some styles where you can buy top & trousers separately and they are good quality, wash and wear very well. Prices can be very steep though, if full price, but they are good value in the sales or with a decent offer code (there are frequent special offers on the website)

KikiDeliversCakes · 23/02/2017 09:25

M&S men's. Comfy, wash well and not frilly or twee. Much better than the cyberjammies that I have.

PaulaBBB · 23/02/2017 09:27

Nutmeg at Morrisons are really nice and soft. They wash pretty well too :) and actually quite cheap!

LoveMyLittleSuperhero · 23/02/2017 09:29

Going to sound daft but have you tried any ASDA ones on? Love them myself, super comfy (I'm curvy) don't cost the earth and wash well.

I find men's ones from Asda are good

TheSkyesTheLimit · 23/02/2017 09:31

I would look at fat face or white stuff, I love both.

icelollycraving · 23/02/2017 09:31

Tu at Sainsbury's.

BigcatLittlecat · 23/02/2017 09:32

Land ends ones are great! Long and roomy! See if you can get in sale! They are my go to ones! Marks and sparks ones are getting smaller and smaller!

Brightsmoke · 23/02/2017 09:32

DH bought me some from very recently. Very warm and snuggly. I'm size 12 and 5'6'' too, and currently 30 weeks pregnant. They fitted me before bump and have stretched to accommodate, not sure they will go back all the way though! Very pleased with the quality

shovetheholly · 23/02/2017 09:32

British Boxers. They knock everything else sideways.

Boux Avenue are quite nice. I got some of their 2 for £35 range (think it's in store only though) just before Christmas and they've washed well, kept (the bright purple) colour and haven't shrunk.

P1nkP0ppy · 23/02/2017 09:35

I buy separate tops and bottoms from Sainsbury's or other supermarkets. Long or short sleeve tee shirts for tops.

Crispbutty · 23/02/2017 09:36

Sainsbury's, Tesco, primark, m&s

All of them do great pjs
