Wooly & blooming Tig!

I'm fully aware she's just a little girl who's being told to "act" but I honestly can't stand her. To the point where I have to walk out the room or find myself getting angry.

I don't know what I'm going to do if my son befriends her when he's older

Ah, I really like Tig! Nice to hear a Scottish accent on CBeebies. Woolly winds me up though.

ShaniaTwang · 22/02/2017 10:06

Sorry yabu. Lovely to hear a Scots voice and I'm not a scot!

Rollonbedtime7pm · 22/02/2017 10:11

I get serious rage about the one where she pressed the bell on the bus and her douchebag dad said they had to get off even though it wasn't their stop!

No you tool, you just apologise to the driver and carry on!! Confused

lottiegarbanzo · 22/02/2017 10:18

I find the one where they go and sit in a cafe but the Dad won't buy a drink because he's in a bad mood (because rain has messed with his car wash or something absurd) rather extraordinary. They then go out and she jumps in puddles, turning his mood around. Um, how did the cafe owner feel about that? And why is she being made responsible for her Dad's ridiculous moods?

So, less her, more something about the milieu of the programme.

Wooly and tig really pisses me off because I find it difficult to believe that the gods honest best people for the job were 'dad's' real daughter and sister in law. And it's narrated by 'dad's' other daughter. Good gig for the family if you can get it!!
Incidentally my autocorrect changed wooly and tig to willy and tug! Wtf

Fakenewsday · 22/02/2017 11:00

my elder DC loved it, we used to call the spider 'platitude spider' but it has a place in my heart because she loved it, and it's set in Scotland.

Fakenewsday · 22/02/2017 11:01

and i'm not keen on the title - i hate baby jake but cbeebies as a whole is brilliant.

TiredBum · 22/02/2017 12:07

I love the Scottish accident (half Scottish myself & my father is as Scottish as they come)

It's just her attitude!

Yes that bus episode windes me up so much! Just say sorry my child is a brat! Angry

Also why does it take a toy spider to tell her to calm down.

Oh, I like Woolly and Tig! Sorry OP Blush

I wish DS2 liked it as much as DS1 as I'm not allowed to watch it anymore!

Mrstumbletap · 22/02/2017 12:23

Ah I hate Wooly and Tig she is so grumpy and moany!! DS wanted to watch it today and I quickly turned it off. She is always in a mood about something, today it was having her school photo taking and didn't like her outfit or something. And I watched one where she was moaning at a zoo, because she couldn't get a toy or something?

She is such a brat, feel far too strongly about a child actress

lottiegarbanzo · 22/02/2017 12:30

They do seem to live in a world of default sullen grumpiness, punctuated by moments of tolerable cheerfulness. She gets it from her Dad though!

I quite like some of it though. I thought dancing at the wedding was hilariously ridiculous, until dd age 2 did very much the same, for the same reason - a quiet audience, clearly awaiting entertainment! (We removed her, at least she wasn't a flower girl!).

Dahlietta · 22/02/2017 12:32

YANBU about the whole thing being annoying, but have you noticed that her dad used to be in Taggart? That cheers me up!
