Book deal cancelled, stepped down from editorship of Breitbart and so on,
in other words, used abused and dumped. Who knew?!

He was the victim of abuse who went on to think abuse is ok when perpetrated on others.

He has also organised a widespread harassment campaign against women in video-game culture.

He is xenophobic, misogynist, transphobic and racist. God only knows what self-esteem issues his black boyfriend suffers from.

He encouraged racist abuse against actress Leslie Jones.

He seems to say anything he can to gain notereity and therefore "fame" calling it free speech.

This piece of free speech has cost him some of his livelihood. I doubt it will shut him up forever. There are enough scum life who will ignore these comments as they agree with some of the rest of the bile he spews.

I read the 18>14 thread and thought how things had changed since I was young. And yes, I'd be deeply worried for my dd at that age and wouldn't want her having sex. A 13 yr old is very young and his comment was very distasteful and right that he should resign as he is in a position of influence. Children of any age can be easily manipulated however, even at 16 or 18 when they are supposedly adults. The one point I do agree on is that the age of consent is arbitrary as illustrated by different European countries, where it ranges from 14 to 18, with the bulk being 14/15/16. It is my understanding (maybe I'm wrong) that the 18>14 relationship in places such as Italy and Germany would not be illegal if the couple had participated in consensual sex.

YANBU. Sadly he sees it all as some sort of badge of honour and his enablers continue to support him based on his FB page. Utterly vile excuse for a human being. He packages up his nastiness as being controversial and mainstream as if that somehow makes it all legitimate. Have reported his FB page for hate speech but it seems FB don't view him as such.

This is what I'm thinking. I must admit to not knowing a huge amount about what he's done, and I had to Google him to remind myself who he was. But there's a person on my FB who wrote a status about something about 'changing his mind about Milo this time' (paraphrased).

What struck me about this FB friend's comment was that he felt that 'freedom of speech' that invoked hate and was damaging, was acceptable on all groups until it involved white males. Though I must admit that I can be certain that this is the case as I don't know all this Milo has said and could of course be because it involves underage children (of whatever race or sex).

He's a sad and rather strange little cunt. Full of hateful views that he peddles to his simple minded fans under the guise of freedom of speech.

Though I'm now disappointed to see him mentioned on Mumsnet, had hoped his presence wasn't important or interesting enough for anyone to comment on as he's the type that thrives on any publicity - good or bad.

Let's hope we don't hear much more from him and that he stays in the states and doesn't get deported back here.

Watching the video might be a good idea. Absolute wanker that he is, it has been taken out of context, it really has. He was talking about relationships past the age of consent when he was 17. You've been had. He is an insufferable cunt, but seriously if he had been saying that you are effectively lambasting a conditioned sex abuse victim for his conditioned response to his abuse. Ffs.

That is unfortunate but doesn't make what he does right. He isn't. He isn't mainstream, he isn't funny, he isn't being particularly clever.
Abuse is awful, it doesn't give you the right to publicly abuse and hound others.

Being the victim of abuse doesn't mean you have a get out of jail free card for abusing others. Plenty of people are abused as children without becoming abusers themselves.

there is no suggestion that he did that. He was defending/rationalising his own abuse as a child.

Meanwhile evil rapists who like Roman Polanski are heroes, not to mention NUMEROUS homosexual authors - the likes of Allen Ginsburg, William S Burroughs, Oscar Wilde, Joe Orton and others all raped young boys.

He has been hung out to dry for political reasons - George Takei said it was GREAT as a 14 year old having gay sex with a camp leader - totally illegal and a serious criminal offence.

Of course it's a stitch up, all of this was broadcast some time ago and has been seen by large numbers of people, it's just because his profile has got too big so they have decided to use it now.
