So of the back of my last thread, I'm in the early stages of coming to terms with a break up. Huge mix of emotions, one being anger but I'm holding back on that. He's a shitty lying arsehole!

Totally unreasonable to go smash up his stuff, but has anyone got any post break up stories, anecdotes, advice. I need a laugh and a hand hold just now

Exh left when dd was 16 months and ds was 2 days old. A few weeks later he rang me to say he was popping round on his way out for the night to get a pair of his shoes. I was fuming as he'd said he had no money to give me for the kids but could afford a night out.
When he got round I was as nice as pie and made him a lovely cup of tea with probably too many laxatives in. He had the shits for days.

When I broke up with an ex in my mid 20s I said to him I was going to sell my car and did he want first refusal (I didn't need it and only kept it because he used it for work). He said sure and because I did some valuing of assets at work to find out the value and let him know. I found the highest value I possibly could for the car and gave it to him and he paid. Idiot. It gave me a nice little cushion which I needed to pay twice the rent!

He did also ask for his share of our nectar points so I spent them all on a jacket I'm debenhams and denied any knowledge thereof.

Ex 'd'p stole an item worth £12,000 from me. Do let me know how you moved on. Because I fucking cant.

DJ that's awful! Did you get it back?

Loving the laxatives idea, might keep that in mind if I'm ever in the mood to entertain his lies again.

Worst thing I've done is binned half of my ex's (pre this arsehole) clothes. He went out to play football one day and never came back. That was spectacularly shit, our 6 month old son was unwell in his first year or so.
