To ask about trolls

NOT a TAAT - just inspired by a certain one

Tell us about your fave MN troll

I liked the woman who had a dead husband who hand painted the childrens bedrooms, and now she was remarried she wanted all of her stepchildren to sleep in one room so that her children from her first marriage wouldn't have to give up their bedrooms even for one night!

Surely IANBU to ask what your favorite troll on MN has been?!

The Christian against dinosaurs troll. Amazing.

ElderDruid · 16/02/2017 15:07

Yes, yes, yes! BrewCake

RatHammock · 16/02/2017 15:08

I was just about to start this thread! I missed that one - sounds like a classic.

I always enjoyed a boxroom thread.

Does anyone remember that troll who always posted about incest and farming? Can't remember the details now.

ElderDruid · 16/02/2017 15:08

Is that the Box Room Troll?

MadHattersWineParty · 16/02/2017 15:09

The one that read like a Danielle Steel novel about the wife being so calm and composed in the face of her husband shagging his mistress (her best friend) wearing her wedding dress! Then there was a spoof thread which was brilliant.

Maudlinmaud · 16/02/2017 15:09

The shoe troll is my favourite. Annoying but my favourite none the less..
Come back soon and show us your mankly plimsoles.

RatHammock · 16/02/2017 15:09

And the poo troll. One memorable thread involved them claiming to be stuck in a loo at Victoria station.

HairsprayBabe · 16/02/2017 15:10

I am not sure, she was also always posting about how she had inherited over £1m and wanted her children from her first marriage to get the most then the children from her second marriage to get 1/2 the amount as they had 2 living parents.

OP posts:
ImnotPadget · 16/02/2017 15:10

The one about her parents dying in the ferry disaster was an interesting one- her aunt and uncle had stolen all her inheritance or somesuch.

UnicornButtplug · 16/02/2017 15:11

I always seem to miss the troll threads!

MadHattersWineParty · 16/02/2017 15:11

Yes! Zeebrugge! That one is still searchable. And all the detailed visits to the solicitors and the 'special doctor' Grin

RatHammock · 16/02/2017 15:11

The boxroom troll always posted about stepfamilies and her DC being treated unfairly and having to sleep in the boxroom.
LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 16/02/2017 15:12

I only catch the shite ones. Confused

RatHammock · 16/02/2017 15:13

Who was it who claimed to go on a waterskiing holiday while she had prem twins in HDU? Mohze or something.

ElderDruid · 16/02/2017 15:18

What's the shoe troll & poo troll?

Maudlinmaud · 16/02/2017 15:19

I wasn't around for this one but googled it after someone mentioned it and it was a great read. I cannot remember the trolls name but she outed herself on the thread and pretended to be her aunt to cover it up.
Then it descended into chaos. She said something like "where are all your children? You've been on the internet all day" Grin

UltimateIdiot · 16/02/2017 15:21

I like how a lot of them use recent news stories or tv shows for inspiration. Makes them easier to spot.

Hell of a lot of 'oh get in to a froth over what a bad Mum I am' ones since 'Moorside'

Exactly · 16/02/2017 15:23

I have a soft spot for Travel Agent Bride Troll.
She jets off to luxury resorts with her uber DP/DH. She may be a pre wedding moon/ honeymoon/ babymoon but it's never Bridlington in January.
Sometimes she even pays for groups of friends to join her.

BitchPeas · 16/02/2017 15:25

Yep RatHammock I remember reading that like Shock I was quite new on here so thought it was real and thought she must have had some post traumatic stress or something Grin

FormerlyFrikadela01 · 16/02/2017 15:26

There's one who I'm not entirely sure is a troll or not but pops up from. Time to time too f on about her very very successful party planning business. Always good for a laugh.

MadHattersWineParty · 16/02/2017 15:27

Ah yes, Anna With the Real Anna Hair.

mouldycheesefan · 16/02/2017 15:28

Babymoon troll has been on this week.
Why don't they set up a troll thread we all love an entertaining troll read. The trolls could post and we could all enjoy their capers safe in the knowledge that everyone knows that they are trolls.
Oh but wait, would other posters then tell real stories pretending to be trolls?

" a dead husband who hand painted the childrens bedrooms"

What a remarkably skilful cadaver.

Tanith · 16/02/2017 15:28

I liked this one:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/in_the_news/1424148-Hi-I-represent-the-Sky-Freeview-Babe-Shows-and-their-viewers

Some of the posters have left now so their contributions have been withdrawn, but still amusing Smile

GinIsIn · 16/02/2017 15:30

Oh yes - Anna troll!
I quite like the occasional baby name troll too....
