DD was 4, DS was 5 1/2. I think I was 7 before I lost any of mine though.

My boy just lost his first one on his 5th birthday last week. I was a bit Shock about it as really wasn't expecting it yet. Still thinking of taking him to the dentist just in case there's something weird about it!

A few days short of 7 for DD3. Can't remember for DDs 1 and 2.

My son lost his first tooth at very nearly 8. Think there's something in the anecdote that if they get them late, they lose them late.

8? Wow! I think 7 is quite late. Once they start to lose their baby teeth, their little faces really start to change, don't they?

Dd was just 6, ds was 7.5. Ds is 10 now and has had issues losing teeth and developing 'shark teeth' etc.

7 is within normal limits though. Dh's friend still has all his baby teeth aged 40!

Last week and hes nearly 7. I thought it would never happen. Then it did. And now it feels weird like he's growing up Confused

Both my dc started losing teeth a few weeks before they were 6.

I think that 6 is the average but it varies hugely.

40?!!! I guess their adult teeth just never formed/pushed them out. Does it look weird?

My 7 yr old keeps asking me when he gets to lose a tooth as all his friends have had money from the tooth fairy

4 and a half, only a few months ago but dd lost her two bottom teeth and her adult ones are through already. Those were her first two that came through and she was only 5 months.

My dd is only losing them now she's 7. Though, her adult teeth have grown behind her baby teeth, hence waiting for them to fall out.

She only got her 1st tooth at 13mo Confused
