No idea what you mean..

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 08/02/2017 20:08

It depends on the plane she's on. Some have wifi.

I'm not sure why this is AIBU though - U about what?

No idea what a kik is, but if it needs internet then a lot of long haul flights have wifi these days.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 08/02/2017 20:08

Confused

If you mean can she use Internet on the plane, the answer is yes you can on some.

Yeah most modern flights planes have wifi on them now.

(Kik is an instant messaging service like what's app)

Report
Redglitter · 08/02/2017 20:09

Yes it's possible. Not sure what's urgent or unreasonable though

Loads of planes now have wi-fi so it's totally possible. DH deliberately flies certain airlines because wi-fi is his king.

Report
melj1213 · 08/02/2017 20:10

Of course it's possible.

I'm assuming Kik is similair to WhatsApp or the like so flights with WiFi mean you can still send them.

Eh? Why are you worried? Of course many planes have wifi these days (as many PP have said) so I don't know why your update still sounded so confused.

Hmm

Report
Kirstyinnorway · 08/02/2017 20:13

X-post, although no idea why you seem so grateful - were you worried the plane had gone down?!

Report
WorraLiberty · 08/02/2017 20:13

I hope she doesn't run out of punctuation in mid-air...

Report
BeyondUnderthinking · 08/02/2017 20:15

Even if she doesn't have onboard wifi, most planes don't fall out of the sky if someone accidentally leaves their phone on Grin

Report
BillyDaveysDaughter · 08/02/2017 20:15

Well, that was random.

Report
Bailey101 · 08/02/2017 20:16

Why was it so urgent?

Report
picklemepopcorn · 08/02/2017 20:17

Did you worry she'd missed her plane?
