New Car?

Both me and my partner have only had hatchback style of cars, we will be treating ourselves to a new car in the next few months.

We live in a rural area, our village is know to flood, quite badly, but in the last 3 years I've only known 4 times when all of the exits from the village have been completely blocked and we have been trapped.

Now here's the unreasonable bit, we are a small family, just 1 DS (2) and don't see this changing for the next few years at least!

My partner has his heart set on a MP4 style car, it's a huge thing, that honestly I'm worried I'd struggle with.

Is it acceptable to have this kind of car with only 3 people, or would we look dumb? Or is it a done thing now? And would I get use to its size?

Or should we just get the cute hatchback :P
