We got a call from a member of public today at work (vets) that there was a dead dog on the beach.

Two of my colleagues went to collect it. They came back white as sheets. The poor little dog was charred to the bone. My boss feels it was set light to whilst still alive due to certain indicators.

That poor poor little mite. WHY?? fucking WHY would you do That??

There was no microchip and we couldn't tell if the dog was either a staffie pup or jack russel terrier. It had been in the sea for some time. It's teeth were clean which suggests he was quite young.

What made it worse was that the police wouldn't even issue a crime number RSPCA did show up but realistically felt there was nkthing to be done.

So this poor little dog had been tortured to death and whoever did it will get away with it without so much as even having to wonder if they will get caught.

I am struggling to shift the image of thus little dig yet these vike disgusting little cants are probably laughing and joking about it.

The poor darling, there seems to be more and more animal cruelty cases around, I'm constantly bombarded with images on my Facebook timeline, I find it hard to get the images from my minds eye.
What the hell is going on in some people's lives for them to be this evil?

Fortunately we don't see the results of cruelty often as people who come to us love tgeir pets like family, we don't workwith the rspca so thankfully it isvery rare that something like this happens. A fair few cats with airgun pellets though

I have no understanding of what would make someone do this.

I am torn over the fact the dog hadno microchip as how the fuck could you call someone and tell them that? but the lack of chip leads me to believe this dog was used for fighting.

I agree isadora however the chances of ever catching the bastard (s) are pretty much non existent. We are in a tidal estuary so the dog could have gone into the sea miles away. But i felt that the police did not take us seriously.

We are keeping the dog's little body until the rspca decide if they will persue it but it is likely they wont. Its like this little dog never existed.
