Didn't 80s ravers put Vicks onto face masks and spend the night dancing into them?

moreslackthanslick Mon 06-Feb-17 22:22:18

YANBU OP - I love Vicks ! I smear a little bit into my nostrils when I'm feeling rebellious.

It's just menthol oil isn't it? I don't think it can do you any harm, use away!

OhtoblazeswithElvira Mon 06-Feb-17 22:23:33

I've heard you can become addicted to it!

peppatax Mon 06-Feb-17 22:24:34

Can put it on your feet to fix fungal infections. HTH

DontTouchTheMoustache Mon 06-Feb-17 22:25:30

I hate using vicks it makes my eyes sting!

Bluntness100 Mon 06-Feb-17 22:26:07

Are you single? If yes, go for it,,,if not I'd ask my partner, I'd be non chuffed if mine came to bed stinking of Vicks just cos he liked it 😃

TheHodgeoftheHedge Mon 06-Feb-17 22:27:43

If I'm ever feeling a bit low and need comforting, I put Vicks on. I think the smell reminds me of when I was little and having my mum look after me, so it's a comfort thing.

Go for it if you get comfort from it. I felt the same way about head pad things. I suffer from back problems and heat helps. Id bought this thing in the supermarket to try that went round me like a belt with the bits that heat up on my back. I was craving them after they ran out and they weren't cheap so didn't want to keep buying them when I didn't need them but I felt like I was becoming addicted to them. So if Vick gives you that feeling I say use it. BUT will that feeling not wear off the more you use it and you'll just end up being stinky and sticky.

A friend of mine from school days used to put it on her fanny before taking E (or maybe acid). She said I should try it. Funnily enough I haven't bothered grin

Rocky,,,what, why? Why would she do that? 😂😂😂

RockyBird Mon 06-Feb-17 22:42:52

Apparently the drugs/Vicks on fanny combo felt amazing and everyone should try it.

I remain unconvinced grin

moreslackthanslick Tue 07-Feb-17 04:33:38

😂😂😂 at Vicks on fanny/ drugs combo!

MagicChicken Tue 07-Feb-17 05:17:11

😮😲 I imagine Vicks on the fanny is much like toothpaste on the fanny. Drugs or no drugs how could that ever feel nice?

atheistmantis Tue 07-Feb-17 05:29:50

Vicks on your fanny must be akin to rubbing raw chilli , why on earth would you do that ? confused

Motherfuckers Tue 07-Feb-17 05:46:29

A lot of lubes have menthol oil though, for that fanny tingling sensation.

BrownEyedLady Tue 07-Feb-17 07:57:00

How did she even discover this??!!

Spring2016 Tue 07-Feb-17 08:01:14

People use mentholated lozenges as a sex aid, she probaby was going on that theory.

BrownEyedLady Tue 07-Feb-17 08:17:21

Really? Wow! This thread has been an eye opener!

Spring2016 Tue 07-Feb-17 08:25:39

Yes, after it disolve in your mouth only btw, then you pleasure your partner, don't put it inside or directly on body parts.

tattychicken Tue 07-Feb-17 08:35:24

I once rubbed deep heat onto my hamstring before a rugby match, then changed my tampax. I really don't recommend it.

Bluntness100 Tue 07-Feb-17 09:00:27

Seriously, I guess you'd have to be high to be rubbing Vicks down there..😂

7SunshineSeven7 Tue 07-Feb-17 09:01:56

I imagine Vicks on the fanny is much like toothpaste on the fanny. Why are you putting toothpaste on the fanny?! grin
