I'm sat here relaxing with the baby and remembered something from ages ago and thought I'd ask what yours are! I love a real life spook story!

What's the spookiest thing that's ever happened to you?!

I was sleeping and heard someone or something knocking at my door. No one else was in the house. It was clear knocking.

WhenI was 7 I dreamt my great nan was by my bed she promised I would be a good girl in the morning I told my mum and she sort of nodded it off, An hour later mum had a call to say great nan had died in the night

I went to a fun day for work and there was a fortune teller. I queued up to see her and when I got to the front she had to have a break, then queued again and guess what she kept looking at me, then packed up said it was time to go,

On the way home(30miles) I called on a friend and thier NDN another friend of mine had just been killed by a motorist.

I often wonder if the fortune teller knew and that's why she behaves so odd with me or if it was coincidental

Years ago I worked as a house parent in a children's home.
We had a family of Boys in this particular weekend.
It was the night that ITV television went 24 hours for the first time.
At 23.45 I did my round and checked the bedrooms then settled down to have my tea watching tv.
I must have nodded off and when I woke with a start a little girl in her nightdress was standing watching me. Children often got out of bed at night so I told her to go back to bed, and I picked up my plates to take to the kitchen and heard her run down the hallway and a bedroom door shut.
I was on my way down a minute later when I suddenly realised we had no girls in that weekend!!!
Four months later I transferred over to the baby unit (building next door) as I never felt comfortable there after that.
One of the nursery nurses who was the former house parent came over to me out of the blue and said "did you see her?"
(I hadn't told anyone about what had happened)
I just nodded and we never spoke about it but I know I had seen a ghost.

After ttc after a late missed miscarriage I fell pregnant and was utterly terrified that the placenta would fail again. One night I had a very vivid dream where my grandma (who passed away in 99) was sat next to me telling me that the baby (boy - I didn't know what we were having) would be ok and not to worry and that everything would be ok. I woke up with a warm glowing feeling and went on to have a healthy boy 7 months later! It was the most vivid dream I have ever had and I can still remember it clearly to this day
