WIBU to do this to my husband?

My husband is nearly 40, has two degrees, plenty of intelligence and a fair bit of common sense. And yet he put his pants on back to front the other day and therefore was unable to utilise the usual "front opening" for toilet trips all day. Knowing I would find his ineptitude hilarious, he told me. Would I be unreasonable to get my sewing machine out while he's out this afternoon and quickly stitch up all the front openings in all his pants as a practical joke? I'm so tempted.

grin Just do one pair and leave them like that so he has to play pants roulette for ever more!

I can't help but wonder why he didn't nip into a cubicle and swap them to the right way round once he realised though!

Just one pair grin. You'll end up having to unpick them so use a large stitch.

Insomnibrat Sat 04-Feb-17 14:49:48

Even better, get the scissors out and create another opening at the back, so no matter which way he wears them, job's a dream!

Pop a pair of your skimpy ones in his pants drawer and see how he get on with them.

rattieofcarcassone Sat 04-Feb-17 14:51:01

Do it!

But... but... wouldn't he just have briefs then? You know, like loads of men wear?

<sort of missing point of thread>

Job done. And now I wait.

While you are on - put a cord on his mittens/gloves so that they can be kept in his sleeves and he won't lose them.

Hurry up and label his shoes 'Left' and 'Right'!

Bluntness100 Sat 04-Feb-17 15:35:59

Why would he not just change them round on one of his toilet trips? Totally missing the point I know, but, why would you keep them like that all day? 🙄

lmpracticalJoker Sat 04-Feb-17 15:51:27

DJ funnily enough his sports socks (and mine) came with L and R on them - cushioning spots you see. He's convinced I'm deliberately pairing up two Ls and two Rs together when I do laundry to fox him. It wasn't deliberate but it will be now. I think I have form for playing jokes blush but we like making each other laugh.

As to why he didn't change them round - more hassle than it's worth when suited and booted to take off trousers and shoes in a work toilet cubicle I guess.

Get a Sharpie pen and write arse and dick on front and back of his pants.

TeteDeMerde Sat 04-Feb-17 16:55:55

I like Charlie's idea grin
