...or one that looks very similar but not like it's been dragged through a hedge.
Meet DH's laundry basket. It pre-dates meeting me, our children, all that jazz. His mum bought it for him back in the day, possibly a decade ago, possibly more. It's brown faux leather, can fold down into a little flat circle (although it's always filled with clothes since we had kids... the washing never stops does it? ) and is the nicest receptacle for dirty washing either of us has ever known. It's also massive which means no dirty pants on the floor even if we've been lazy and not put a wash on for a while.
It may have been from Ikea or a department store but despite literally years of looking for something similar (and big enough to put a week's worth of family washing in it) I've got nothing.
AIBU to:
- love this laundry basket so much? (I fear I know the answer to this but in my defence the picture doesn't do it justice)
- hope someone else recognises where it came from or knows somewhere to buy something similar?
Thanks for any help you can give me (even if that's just a stern talking to for caring too much about random household goods).
