Issues with his teeth?

MiL chews with her front teeth (no back teeth) and I cannot be near her when she eats.

Misophonia my dad is a sufferer and it's second nature for us to get away from him especially when eating crisps, chewy slapping gum sweets etc haha!! Strange how you've only just noticed but it will likely drive you mad forever now you're aware of it! You can get treatment I think - relaxation or hypnotherapy perhaps?! Good luck my dad says it makes him feel like putting people's head through a wall 😂

I usually find that little things bug me when something bigger is bugging me.

Yuk yuk yuk - nothing worse, well actually people who make orgasm noises over the blandest of foods. Oh yes, mmm yes... Do you need a room for you and your plate!

Mari50 Tue 31-Jan-17 21:05:11

I remember hating the sound of my husbands breathing, sitting next to him on a plane and just wishing I could stick a pillow in his gob.
We divorced not long after. . . . .

SingingInTheRainstorm: I really wanted a like button for your comment! grin

My mum says the same about my stepdad. Iv only noticed become an issue as they have got older though it's odd.

Somtimes although it's just a particular person or type of noise that sets it off and nothing else!

It might go away once you stop focusing on it but on the other hand now that it's been triggered that might be you annoyed for life.
