I lit the fire a few hours ago, and have kept it in nicely since then. Why the need to come up to it, completely rearrange it so it's not as good and then go away again?! I'm the one sitting by it!

I have a fire fettler too.
When he's in the living room he's always up and down, prodding it and generally getting red hot bits of log all over the hearth.
