Had a job interview today.
Been eagerly anticipating this because I really need to start earning money and although it wasn't anything fancy it would fit around my uni hours and give me enough money to live on.
Only, at the interview I find out it's not going to be the 20hrs a week I need to live on, it'll be more like 10-20, which is a big difference.
It's also Minimum wage.
Zero hours contract.
Monthly frigging pay and the best bit is because it's a new company, they open 4 days after the pay date. So I won't get any money until March, if I get the job.
Just really fucking frustrated with shit jobs that pay shit money, and treat you like a completely replaceable piece of crap that they don't care about, it doesn't feel like I'm ever going to get anything better at the moment 
Aibu to feel really fucking deflated that this job was not what I thought it would be? Or should I just be happy there is something available, no matter how rubbish it is?

I have looooads of work experience already. I really don't want yet another crappy job that I have to leave after a few months because the pay/conditions/managers are awful. I just want somewhere I can work and stay put for a while that won't completely take over my life, give me enough money to live on (and maybe even save a little) and I can be happy! Seems like an impossible task at the moment
The not being open yet thing doesn't really worry but atm, its quite common in this area and I've worked in a few start up businesses around here, all of which are still open.
Just really annoyed about the zero hours thing. No where in the ad did it say that it would be zero hours and if I had known that I probably wouldn't have gone for it. It wouldn't be so bad if I was a live at home student doing the job for pocket money (not that I agree with zero hours contracts for them either), but I really really need to earn money to live on, I don't get any help with anything so if I don't work I can't live. Why don't companies understand that? Or maybe they do but they just don't care
Frustratingly, (and weirdly) there are loads of full time jobs going at the moment but I can't do Mon-Fri like they want, even if it was full time hours including the weekend I could make it work (just) but I just can't commit to a Mon-Fri at the moment. In 6 months time that would be idea but just not right now and I can't afford to wait until something ideal comes up.
