DD is 6, but height of 125cm and weight 23kg, so height is definitely more 7-8 year old but not sure on weight. Dosage wise is it best to stick to age? Or should I be taking into account that she's taller and err more towards a higher dosage? Trying to get her temperature under control...grr to winter bugs!

I would go by weight rather than age.

Thank you - just had a little google and it looks like she's in 7-8 age range for weight too, will go with the higher dosage (if I can get her to take it!). Was having one of those 'am I thinking straight moments?' and doubting myself.

She can have up to 10mg per kg of weight so as long as she is over 20kg, 10ml is ok.

Got it down her and she's now flaked out. Thanks for the info Spikeyball that's good to know. I'm usually quite confident but it all came on so quickly and I'm a LP so no other adult in the house to consult with! Hoping she sleeps it off now...
