The first Trainspotting film remains the only one I have ever seen at the cinema more than once - in fact I think I saw it three times with different friends.

I can't wait to see the new one.

Interesting to read interviews with the actors - who are mostly the same age as me, and of course we are all 20 years or so older.

I watched the first Trainspotting in a cinema in Durban, South Africa.

It got a standing ovation at the end (well deserved)!

So I am looking forward to the second part.

It's one of favourite films-cannot wait for the new one! We watched the original again the other night in preparation!

Oh oh oh me too!
The trailer is so beautiful and I am far far too excited to see it. I will even be going to the the cinema alone for the first time ever.

I really want to see it but I'm worried it will be like comparing myself at 18 to me now aged 43 - quite disappointing! Smile

I am ridiculously excited about it! Thinking of watching the first one tonight to make sure I can still quote every line and haven't forgotten any of it.

Me too. And it looks as if I'll have to go on my own - DH is being grumpy cinema prices.

Can't bloody wait!

I can't wait to see it! Unfortunately no one wants to come with me and I don't want to go alone. Sad

DH, the man who last went to the cinema in 1989, asked me to go to see this with him.
Can't wait.

SO excited. It's 'our' film and we had 'Perfect Day' as our first dance (I know, I know). Hope to god it's as good. Oh and I LOVE Jonny Lee Miller....

Finally got round to seeing it yesterday (child free).

It was ace - although more melancholic maybe, and quite a bromance going on between Renton & Sickboy.

I didn't realise first time that Sickboy was actually Simon.

We had all aged in our different ways - the cast and the audience.

Yes it's fab. Im glad I went too. Does make me feel I'm getting old though....guess we are all aging. Danny Boyle really is a great director isn't he?

Saw it earlier in the week and did love it. Felt old but still. The no more catholics bit had me in stitches tooGrin

I watched it for the very first time a few days ago after my boyfriend was rather disgusted at me when I told I hadn't seen it so we cant go the cinema and see the 2nd one.
Got to say, I absolutely loved it. I hope the 2nd one, is as good. Love Robert Carlyle!

A friend of mine went to watch it tonight she said it was rubbish.
