Sandi is a breath of fresh air. I think she's great. Loved her on the News Quiz, not so much on Fifteen to 1. QI is perfect for her, I've started to watch it again.

I have never been keen on her. I watch 15-1 but she drives me mad on that. "That's not what we're looking for!" Her delivery is off.
I liked the News Quiz better without her. I find her patronising. (But so was Stephen)

I really like her on it but no-one will match Stephen as QI host. He somehow managed to make it both interesting and hilarious and I do think he genuinely made the effort to learn about some of the stuff that he didn't know.

Don't really get the "bullying" comments about Alan. He's a) a grown man and b) the actual star the show was built around in the first place, so he mustn't feel the same way as you. QI was originally envisaged to be "Clever vs. Thick" with Alan proudly representing the "Thick" team and a revolving panelist on the "Clever" team with Michael Palin hosting. It was only after Michael Palin didn't want to do a quiz that they changed it to what it is now.

I used to love Stephen on QI, but I enjoyed it less when he began to show magic tricks instead of 'quite interesting' sciency experiments. I felt it was something he wanted to do for personal reasons, and really not related to the show at all.

I still enjoyed QI and still think Stephen is great, but Sandi has given it a new lease of life.

I agree neither could I. She just seems genuinely delighted to be on QI. I was very surprised how much I enjoyed it.

I adore her. I do like Stephen Fry, but there was a level of smugness in his QI presenting that I just couldn't stand. Sandi's removed all smugness.

I love Sandi and I completely agree that she has given QI a new lease of life and I have it on series record now!

Can I also have a stealth boast? We share a hairdresser! Never actually managed to cross appointments and meet her in person, but all feedback is that she is the loveliest, nicest and most generally wonderful person who leaves big tips for the juniors at Christmas!

I wouldn't expect anything less!

I've met her twice - one of those times was when she interviewed me on a pre-recorded radio programme, which meant spending an hour in her company - and she is indeed very nice and friendly.
